The new Nicasio 1 ST is built around a smooth-riding and stylish Steezy double-butted CrMo frame and fork and zippy 700C wheels, with room for up to 45mm tires. The step-thru frame makes the bike easier to mount/dismount, especially when the bike may be loaded with cargo or a child seat. We’ve specced a 2x8-speed Shimano Claris drivetrain, wide WTB rubber, powerful Tektro mechanical discs and plenty of Marin components to ensure a smooth, safe, and FUN ride.

Our top-of-the-line Nicasio, the Marin Nicasio 2 steps up to a Series 2 double-butted CrMo frame and a full carbon fiber fork. There’s also a Shimano Tiagra 2x10 speed drivetrain, powerful in all conditions Shimano hydraulic brakes and fast, grippy Vee tires in 700x35. Unlike the other bikes in the Nicasio family, the 2 comes with stiff and sturdy 12mm thru-axle dropouts.

The dropouts slide to tension belts and chains, while incorporating flat mount disc brakes, and a direct mount rear kickstand to support the bike where weight is centered with gear. DISC BRAKES - Hydraulic disc brakes provide smooth, controlled stopping in all conditions with minimal maintenance. It's constructed around a lightweight Series 2 6061 aluminum frame, a suspension fork, Shimano drivetrains, rack and fender mounts, large-volume 700c mixed-terrain tires, and disc brakes. Dual Sport geometry balances an active pedaling position with an upright seating position for fitness riding across mixed surfaces.
